Looking For A Home That Will Impress? These Tips Will Help Make Your Dreams A Reality
Everyone loves nice things. Some more than others. Some love nice things but want to keep it on the down-low, while others live to have the nice things they own on display, to be admired by all.
I’m latter; I love extravagance and the idea of having others enjoy it with me.
That’s why, when I was looking to buy a house, I was sure to get one that suited my whims… according to my budget of course.
Now, I’m able to entertain as I please while my family lives in comfort.
Here are three things I looked for that rendered my success while house hunting:
Space/size —
If you want to be a great home entertainer then you must have a home with lots of space. Nobody likes a cramped dinner or poolside party. Whether it be a posh indoor party or a 4th of July outdoor barbecue, your guests should have enough room to roam freely and enjoy themselves.
And when the party’s over, your family members should be comfortable enough in whatever area they choose to be their relaxation zone for whatever activities they plan individually. So, when house hunting, look for one with lots of space; say 3000+ square footage.
Distance —
It’s always best, if you’re gonna be hosting house events, that you live a little ways off from your neighbors. That way you won’t have to worry about your music or guests disturbing anyone and risk having the cops coming to knock on your door. Plus, the distance gives your family privacy and a sense of security. Make sure though that you don’t choose a house too far away from school, if you have kids, or away from the highway and commute in case of emergency.
Price —
It’s always important that you get a good price for the house of your choice. By this, I mean that you should look for a valuable property that is priced within your budget. You may think that these don’t exist, but they do. A suitable price range for the size of the property that you’re looking for should be at the most $800,000.
Now, these three are not enough to make you the perfect host/hostess. Some other important elements would top things off for you:
- At least four bedrooms and bathrooms
- A sizable outdoor pool
- A gazebo
- A BBQ-bar area (of about 190 feet long)
- A spacious lawn
- A large kitchen
